Mrs. Smith’s Signature Deep Dish Pies Review and $50 William Sonoma Gift Card!

Thanksgiving just ended but that does not mean the end of fabulous pies!  I am sick of baking pies (I did close to 4 of them for Thanksgiving) so for the Christmas/Chanukah season, I am going to be buying Mrs. Smith’s Signature Deep Dish pies.

If you are not familiar with Mrs. Smith’s, they are the premiere baker of those fabulous pies you see in your local grocery store. I actually got the chance to sample all of them and while all are truly fantastic, my favorite is the Signature Deep Dish Dutch Apple Pie with Caramel Sauce. I can’t even begin to tell you how good this pie is. Just take a look- Is your mouth watering yet?

f you are craving big delicious slices of apple that are baked to perfection in cinnamon and real sugar, than this pie is for you. Their Signature Deep Dish Dutch Apple Pies is the perfect blend of cinnamon, brown sugar, and apples with a generous amount of golden brown sugar streusel on top. Add in the flavors of the home made, real butter signature crust and you have the most delicious pie!

While I loved this pie just as it was, we did add in the caramel packet to see how the taste was with the additional caramel flavor. I was not sure I would love it since I thought apples/caramel sauce didn’t go together that well, but I was truly wrong. I made the pie even more irresistible by putting on the caramel sauce over the Mrs. Smith’s Signature Deep Dish Apple Pie.  I plan to make this for many more years when we have guest over.
