When it comes to family fun, nobody does it better than Disney. While the parks are usually the first thing that springs to mind when you think of Disney, don’t miss out on their amazing cruises, too! If you combine a generous helping of pixie dust with the open ocean, you’ll get a close approximation of what it’s like to take a Disney cruise, particularly a Disney Treasure cruise.
I recently was invited on a press day for the new Disney Treasure, which made a stop in NYC to be christened before it headed to Florida for its inagural sail out of Florida this past Christmastime. It was truly a magical day and I highly recommend to anyone to sail the new Disney Treasure. There is simply nothing else like it in terms of fun, food, and the beauty of this ship.
Enjoying a Disney Treasure Cruise
The Disney Treasure is a massive cruise liner that can accommodate up to 4,000 passengers and boasts 1,256 staterooms, a variety of entertainment and dining options, and of course, the kind of family-friendly magic you can only enjoy with Disney. Launched in 2024, this cruise ship is the second ship of the Wish class and the first ship to completely embrace the parks with three lounges themed with classic Disney attractions and a unique suit found only on the Treasure that pays homage to Disney’s famous Epcot Center.
