Since earlier this year many have been quarantined in their homes. We’ve been avoiding grocery stores and opting for curbside pick-up or even delivery when the option is available. Families are choosing to homeschool instead of sending little ones back to public schools, for fear of sickness. People everywhere have seen their work hours cut, or worse, lost their jobs entirely. Times are rough for many worldwide in the face of the coronavirus pandemic. In fact, for many people I know, it has changed the course of their daily lives completely.
While our family is fortunate not to have suffered much loss at this point in time, we have been right there with many families who find themselves confined to home, outside of work, and trying to keep our little ones from feeling the same effects from all of the changes this virus has created. It hasn’t been easy, with school routines changed, loss of being able to socialize in person with their peers, etc. and there have been meltdowns, from both children and parents.
To cut back the feelings of frustration, anger and even at times, sadness, we’ve had to get a little creative from time to time in order to keep everyone from spiraling downwards. This includes more family nights, spending more time in the kitchen baking treats together, movie marathons, backyard play and more time dedicated to reading together.
It also includes more time for learning about and making music, thanks to the Casio CT-S200. Our family loves music, and we indulge in listening quite often, whether it be here at home or while riding around running errands. Being able to review the Casio keyboard CT-S200 here at home couldn’t have come at a better time.
National Piano Month is right around the corner and is celebrated all through the month of September, which means we have an entire month to dedicate to the power of music and the effects it can have on the mind, body and soul. The folks over at Casio know that playing the piano is a terrific outlet for relieving stress, and is a fun hobby for those who are interested in delving deeper into the world of music.
Even though we’re not pros by far, we have been able to enjoy the features the Casio keyboard CT-S200 has to offer, including:
- lightweight portability with grab-n-go handle for when you’re planning to be away from home
- Connectivity to Chordona iOS and android app for lessons and more.
