I’ve talked a lot lately about being shut in here at home and the challenges many families are going through in the face of coronavirus. I had previously hoped that by now life would have returned to normal but unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like there’s an end in sight just yet. I’m now keeping my fingers crossed that by the first of the new year normalcy might be returned to us but until then it’s business as usual for everyone.
One of the hardest hurdles we’ve had to overcome is keeping our children from going nuts being home 24/7. It’s been hard on us adults too but we’re better at adapting to new things than little ones are. Their whole life has been turned upside down and due to Covid-19 they don’t even have the benefit of their friends to keep their minds occupied. Sure, there’s Zoom and Skype but virtual interactions just don’t pack the same punch as in-person play dates.
Over the years our family has collected board games for family nights, decks of cards such as UNO etc. We even have a few gaming systems that we give the kids allotted time slots on for screen time. Even with a yard suitable for outside play, all of these things just haven’t been enough to combat the corona blues that seem to travel from household to household. This is something that I’m sure many of my readers can relate to.
Growing up there was a classic toys brand that I remember well from my own childhood, one that kept me busy as a little kid and that has only grown in popularity in this day in age. Little Tikes is as big of a household name now as it was when it just started out 50 years ago.
The difference between then and now, is that back then we didn’t have the Tobi Robot Smartwatch! The first product ever produced by Little Tikes to be technology-forward, the Tobi Robot Smartwatch should be on everyone’s must-have for holiday shopping this year! Not only is this kids smartwatch totally cute but it’s totally functional too.
With up to 5 days of battery life and a ton of features to choose from, the Tobi Kids Smartwatch functions much like the adult version that has become popular. The biggest difference? Our smartwatches don’t come with a little interactive robot personality and features such as selfie taking and silly digital stickers. With moving arms and legs as well as 100+ expressions, Tobi will keep your kiddos delightfully entertained for hours.
Other included features of the Tobi smartwatch include but aren’t limited to:
- Available in blue and pink
- Two built in cameras that can take both selfies and videos
- Use for fitness and to track daily steps to encourage active play
- Comes with learning, dancing and other games for hours of entertainment
- Wifi compatible
- Able to send messages to other nearby Tobi devices
If you’re on the verge of pulling out your own hair or are finding yourself at a loss about how you can help keep your little ones from sinking into a quarantine funk, then I encourage you take a look at the Tobi Kids Smartwatch. It’s engaging, it’s affordable and it might be just the “friend” your little ones need during these next few trying months!
