Bath time has always been an important bonding time between me and my kids. I have three children, and I have always made sure that the time they spent in the tub was more than just wetting them down, soaping them up, and getting them out. For me and the kids, bath time has always been a time when we connect after a long day. Tickles and laughter are just as much a part of it as scrubbing their thick mops of hair

JOHNSON’S® and Bath Time – My Go To Combo
As a busy mom, blogger, and dentist, I have always used bath time as another way to spend quality time with my kids, and I’ve always used JOHNSON’S® HEAD-TO-TOE® baby wash. With my first two children, I used the classic HEAD-TO-TOE®. It got them so clean, they smelled wonderful, and – bonus – it put them right to sleep! By the time their baths were over, my kids could barely make it through story time.
Now, JOHNSON’S® has a new version of their HEAD-TO-TOE® baby wash: : JOHNSON’S® HEAD-TO-TOE® extra moisturizing baby wash. It features extra moisturizing ingredients to ensure that baby’s skin stay soft, smooth, and healthy. They also have a new JOHNSON’S® HEAD-TO-TOE® extra moisturizing baby cream to help keep baby’s delicate skin protected after bathing is all done.
I’m in love with these new products. We all know how hard extreme weather conditions can be on our babies’ skin. Between the sun, wind, heat, and cold, our poor babies’ skin can end up getting raw, chapped, or rashy. That is zero fun. I remember dealing with that with my two oldest children, and it was awful. They were so pitiful with their rashy little arms and legs. JOHNSON’S® HEAD-TO-TOE® extra moisturizing body wash and baby cream helps protect baby’s delicate skin from the weather and keep it as healthy and pinchable as possible!
My JOHNSON’S® Bath Time Tips
For new moms out there or for moms who want to get the most out of this new line of products from JOHNSON’S®, I’ve got a few tips to help with bath time.
Massage the Skin
Don’t scrub the skin so much as massage it. It will gently work off the grimy baby stuff while getting all that moisturizing goodness deep down into your baby’s skin. Really work that HEAD-TO-TOE® into the skin to help it absorb all the good stuff.
Not Too Hot
In addition to irritating the skin, bath water that is too hot can leech away essential moisture from the skin. Keep the water just warm enough for baby without making it piping hot.
Scrub that Mop
When you hit the hair, don’t be afraid to get those finger tips in there. I learned the hard way that babies have a knack for getting the weirdest things deep in their hair. I once pulled a half dissolved Cheerio out of my youngest’s hair. It was actually laying on her scalp!
Have Fun!
Bath time is about more than just getting the little one’s clean. It’s prime bonding time. So make sure bath time is full of laughter and smiles. Make it a time that the little ones wait for all day.
Bath Time is the Best Time
Bath time is one of the best times for me and my baby. I miss bath time so much with my oldest two, but at least I have some time left with my youngest. We can seriously stay in the bath room for well over an hour and have our little conversations while I wash her. We both get so much out of it, and I know that I’m helping to keep her skin healthy and moisturized with JOHNSONS’S® HEAD-TO-TOE® extra moisturizing wash and baby cream.
