*I am a National Geographic Blog Ambassador and received TOMS for reviews. All my opinions are my own and not swayed by outside sources. *
TOMS is one of my favorite brands of shoes to wears and National Geographic is one of my favorite kids magazine I like to receive. So naturally I was very excited when I learned that TOMS has teamed up National Geographic to create an exclusive special edition line of footwear, sunglasses, and a backpack inspired by National Geographic’s Big Cats Initiative.
**Big cats in the wild are disappearing at an alarming rate. In fact, within your lifetime lions in the wild could disappear forever. Since 2009, National Geographic’s Big Cats Initiative has worked to reverse this decline through on-the-ground conservation and education projects. *
TOMS is excited to partner with National Geographic and support its nonprofit work through the Big Cats Collection, a special-edition line of footwear, sunglasses, and a backpack. Inspired by National Geographic’s Big Cats Initiative, the collection draws attention to the critical need to protect these majestic creatures for generations to come.
Each item in the collection features design elements representative of a big cat as well as iconic photography from National Geographic’s image library The collection is available at TOMS retail stores, select retailers and online now.
I received the Nat Geo Jaguar Classic and I LOVE the shoe. Of course, TOMS offer one of the most comfortable shoes on the market but this shoe is extra special! It features the beautiful Jaguar designs! The shoe features a jaguar-inspired pattern and paw print with jaguar images on the lining. I absolutely love the microfiber insole with cushion for comfort and the latex arch insert for added support. Of course with every TOMS purchased, TOMS will donate a new pair of shoes to those in need!
I LOVE that this collection brings awareness to the most endangered species. Big cats in the wild are disappearing at an alarming rate, and the collection draws attention to the critical need to protect these majestic creatures for generations to come.
As for me, we are HUGE lovers of animals. A few years back my husband and I visited Thailand so we came face to face with some of the most beautiful endangered species in the world. I hope you enjoy these pictures!
Thank you TOMS and National Geographic for drawing attention to these beautiful animals!
