Two weekends back, our family received the Toys “R” Us Big Christmas Book in the mail. The kids had so much fun circling what they wanted to receive. While we had a blast doing this as a family, we had even more fun visiting Toys “R” Us on the Ultimate Wish Saturday events, that are still going on now. If you have not been to one of the events yet, the last one is this Saturday (Nov. 22) and features everything LEGO.
Hayley and I arrived for the Skylanders event on November 8th. They had an entire section dedicated to Skylanders and had fun, prizes, and games for the whole family. Hayley had so much hanging out with Geoffrey the Giraffe and seeing all the great selection of toys available at Toys “R” Us. While we were there, I also had a chance to experience the Toys “R” Us Wish List App as we were going through the store.
The Toys “R” Us Wish List App is quite simple to work. You download this app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. Then once downloaded, you are able to scan into the barcodes of toys that your kids like right into the app. The smartphone turns right into a scanner, allowing us parents to scan that must have toy barcode. Then this toy is then added to a digital Wish List that can be accessed on any smartphone or PC, and even can be shared with family/friends via SMS, email, Facebook, and Twitter. If you want to make purchases, you can do so right on the app as well.
As Hayley was going through the store, I scanned in all the toys she spotted and it added right to our online wish list. We scanned a lot that day and even some for her brother/sister! I am pretty sure the girl wants every single toy in Toys “R” Us! It was so easy to use and best of all, the app was completely free! What could be better!
Hayley and I saw so many awesome toys for the holiday season including baby dolls, LEGO, Skylanders, Frozen, Monster High, Barbie, My Little Pony, Little Live Pets, Lalaloopsy, board games, books, LeapFrog, Innotab, Thomas, Disney Minnie, Sofia the First, Paw Patrol, and more.
Be sure to pick up your copy of the Toys “R” Us Big Christmas Book and definitely download the Wish List App to make holiday shopping easy and seamless this holiday season! Have fun shopping. I know I did!

My kid let me know what they want when they see commercials. I would be broke if I let them guide me through the store like that LOL.

I remember going to Toys R US what a dream for the kids. I am sad to say they are too old for there, haven’t been in a couple of years. TEAR TEAR, only for nerf guns a few years ago

I have yet to receive my Big Book as yet and I can’t wait to get it. The kids usually go through and mark what they want for Christmas out of it.

We haven’t gotten one of those books since I was a kid I don’t think but I remember book marking, circling, cutting out and making collages… I loved that thing.

Just the mention of a potential visit to this store is enough to get kids to snap into good behavior .

My kids had me go throughout the entire store and take a LOT of pictures of items they would love to have. I think I took a picture of almost EVERYTHING in that store. Needless to say, I’d go broker than broke if I gave them what they wanted.
