Our good friend was recently diagnosed with Celiac disease and she was coming over to eat with us. I knew she is limited to a gluten free diet but I had no idea where to start finding these specific foods. Lucky for me, Udi’s contacted me to review their gluten free selections of foods. I am pretty sure that this opportunity could not have come at a better time. I had never really heard of gluten free foods before, nor have I heard about Udi’s, so I was intrigued.
Udis Foods has a great selection of food that is available for those that need to eat a gluten free diet. I couldn’t believe the vast array of food that is available to those needing to eat with these specific dietary conditions. They make bagels, breads, buns, granola, cookies, muffins, cinnamon rolls, pizza, muffin tops, and brownies that are all made with the freshest, gluten free ingredients. On their website, Udi’s gluten free foods, they offer incredible recipes for those that are eating gluten free or wish to live a gluten free lifestyle. The site also offers forums and chats to find out more information about this specific type of diet.
We received the shipment and had to test it out before our friends arrived. I really couldn’t believe how delicious the food truly was. We were sent a wide array of food including Udi’s Gluten Free Breads, Udi’s Gluten Free Chocolate Chip Cookies, Udi’s Pizza crusts, Udi’s Granola, and many more. I couldn’t taste the difference between Gluten Free products and non Gluten Free products. I actually thought in certain instances, these products actually tasted better than what we had currently in our house. When my friend arrived, she was so happy that I introduced her to a new line of food that she could eat. She couldn’t thank me enough.
I have to say that if a family member is living a Gluten Free diet, they have to check out Udi’s. Also, if you are living with family members that need to eat these foods, there is really no need to buy two separate foods. Udi’s offers delicious findings for everyone in your family. Be sure to check out Udi’s. They can also be found on Facebook at: Udi’s and on twitter at @udisglutenfree.
* I received products for reviewing purposes. All my opinions are my own and not swayed by outside sources.
I have several friends who have to eat Gluten Free. Thanks for the review.
