A few weeks back, my family and a few of our friends were invited to Six Flags for a day of fun and excitement. My husband and I took kids who ranged in the ages of 7 to 13. While we could have brought the kids on some of the same rides, for most of the day we split up. I took Tay Tay to the Looney Tunes land and the rest of the kids went with my husband on the big rides that they love so much such as The Joker.
When we arrived I noticed right away that Six Flags, New England was very Covid friendly. I was a bit nervous about this but honestly they did a fantastic job. They had markers on the floor for 6 feet apart separation as well as having hand sanitizer stations next to each ride and attraction. My family and I wore masks that day although masks are not required if vaccinated.
Tay Tay and I started out at the carousel which was a fun introduction ride that we did. It is the first ride when you enter the park so it was a great. After this Tay and I went on Daffy Duck Hollywood Tour, Krazy Kars, Krazy Kups, Rock N Rodeo, Ships Ahoy!, and Wacky Wagon. Tay’s favorite was The Great Chase which was a little rollercoaster that she enjoyed. Her favorite though (and she just made the heigh requirement) was Pandemonium, which is a spinning rollercoaster. You get to spin in endless 360s on this ride. In that same area, we also went on the Blizzard River where we got soaked. It was so fun!
While we went on these, the older kids and my husband visited all the thrill rides. Their favorite rides were Batman the Dark Knight, Flashback, Harley Quinn, The Joker, and Superman. The two girls rode Superman at least four times that day and we even bought the picture as a memorabilia. I even rode a few of the thrill rides which brought me back to being a child again when I enjoyed rollercoasters. These coasters are so smooth and so fun!
We ended the day eating at a burrito place outside. They have a vast variety of food that you can purchase at various sections of the park. The park is very big but no worries because even if you can’t find a sit down place, you definitely will find a candy or ice cream shop. Before heading out we all got fudge at the candy shop and some lemonade.
Six Flags New England is unbelievably fun and perfect for everyone of all ages. Fright Fest for Halloween is coming up so be sure to check out their website to learn more including hours and ticket prices. I definitely recommend a trip to Six Flags New England this summer or fall!
