Parenting and texting go hand in hand in our everyday lives. We text our spouses or significant others for things we might need while they’re out. We plan play dates. We live in an ultra connected time, and technology is all around us. So let’s make the technology work for us. Texting is great for getting that gallon of milk we need, but what if texting could actually help support our kids’ development in a way that makes it fun, natural, and second nature? We can with Vroom.
With my three kids, technology is all the rage. There is no stopping that in my household. I get nervous with them having their own tech devices but now thankful for Vroom!

Vroom Makes Education Feel Natural
Vroom is a unique learning app, and I love it. Unlike other learning apps, which focus solely on learning games – which are absolutely effective, for sure – Vroom takes a different approach. Vroom gets kids ready for life today and in the future by helping parents make learning a natural part of their kids’ lives. Rather than sitting down and playing a game, Vroom gives parents tips on how to incorporate learning into natural conversation and activities that they do with their kids everyday. It’s pretty amazing, and it is completely free! You can get Vroom tips from their texting service, or from their website or app.
Texting and Parenting is the new winning combo Vroom uses to help parents make learning an organic experience. With Vroom’s texting service, you can access daily tips, even if you don’t have access to the mobile app or website. The regular texts give you jumping off points for starting educational activities and conversations with your kids that feel totally natural. I've been using it, and I’ve found that once the Vroom prompt has come to an end, my children and I continue to talk about the concept—or something else entirely.
So texting has now become an incredibly valuable tool for engaging rather than a distraction. Yay, technology!
Here’s one example of how parenting and texting with Vroom works. Vroom gives you tips based on your child’s age. The Vroom tips below are for a 4 to 5-year- old child.
Message 1: Hi-it’s Jesse from Vroom! Tired from a long week? Let’s get you ready for the weekend with a goofy way to build your child’s brain. Text NEXT for more.
Message 2: Make a face that shows a feeling & ask your child to make a face that shows the opposite emotion. Now take a selfie together with your goofiest faces! Text NEXT
Message 3: Making faces might seem silly but is helpful to build empathy in your child. There can be a lot on your plate. We are here to make brain building easy.
It’s Easy to Start Brain Building
The free texting feature from Vroom is super easy to start or stop, and it can be used for multiple children. All you have to do is register for Vroom texting using their webform. Their brain-building tips for infants to 5-year olds will then be sent to your phone. It’s easy to stop. You can just text STOP at any time. You’ll even be able to select what time of day that you want to receive texts, and if you have multiple children, you can get tips for different children on different days. The full tip will be delivered over the course of 3 or 4 messages, and don’t worry if you don’t have time as soon as the text arrives. The next message only comes after you text a reply.
The very young years are the ones where the kids’ brains develop the fastest, so make them count with Vroom. Their new brain building tip service makes parenting and texting a help rather than a hindrance. Head over to Vroom and make texting a part of your educational process today!
