As a young girl, I remember sitting around the kitchen table and doing homework with my mom. Along with my homework, she always had my favorite childhood drink ready to go, chocolate milk. My mom never bought chocolate milk from the store but rather made it herself using the delicious Hershey’s Syrup. As I got older, my mom showed me just the right amount of Hershey’s Syrup to put in my drink so I could have the perfect glass of chocolate milk. The memories I had of this still live within me today and now I can share the joy of chocolate milk with my children.
Enjoying the little things in life should not be complicated. There is no reason to go out every single night with the kids. Sometimes it is best to stop and enjoy the little things around us. For our family, that means going on a local bike ride around our development or playing a board game. Then we end our day with chocolate milk or even a family favorite of an Ice Cream night with all our favorite toppings.
Just in time for summer, Hershey’s has a brand new syrup on the market called HERSHEY’S SIMPLY 5 Syrup. HERSHEY’S SIMPLY 5 Syrup is a sweet and simple take on the HERSHEY’S classic, now made with five simple ingredients and has no high fructose corn syrup or artificial colors and flavors. That is right- it is an updated classic and is made of all the right ingredients. For my family, we love to create our own special family moments by squeezing the HERSHEY’S SIMPLY 5 Syrup on our favorite treats such as our homemade brownies, cakes, or Ice cream! It allows my family to have memory after memory with the sweet taste of HERSHEY’S SIMPLY 5 Syrup.
To celebrate this amazing sauce, I decided to make one of my favorite drink recipes. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do!
