If you ever wondered what type of dreamer your child is, now is the chance to take the Tomorrowland Dreamers Quiz. Once you take that, run out to buy Tomorrowland which released this past week on Blu-Ray Combo Pack and DVD! This is a movie you do not want to miss- TRUST ME!
I was very excited to take this quiz as I consider myself a dreamer and feel my kids are dreamers too. I was interested in learning the answers once I followed a series of 10 questions that relate to how my children perceive things. I did it for first for Hayley and then filled it out for Zane. Both of them turned out to be artists which I am not surprised about. While Hayley is really into learning, she is also very into her putting her imagination to paper. Zane is the same way.
Most days, I can find the two of them at the table, markers in hand, drawing out the scene to a movie or book. Hayley then puts in the words to the book and we read it nightly. Once a week, they both put together a new book and this repeats all throughout the year. They use their emotions, as well as their imaginations, to create their masterpieces. It is really quite endearing to see them work so well together.
With the artist, this is what I got once I took the quiz:
Your child’s dreamer traits are creativity, uniqueness and expressiveness. Artists have active imaginations that they express in unique ways. They may be more emotional, but use those emotions as energy in their creations. Your child wants to bring beauty and uniqueness into this world. A child may express this creativity and uniqueness through any career that allows him/her to create — for example, a musician, dancer, painter, chef, journalist or author. You can inspire your young artist by taking him/her on a nature walk and encouraging the use of senses to fully experience the world. Start by focusing on what you can hear; listen to the birds singing and the wind through the leaves. Then, focus on what you can see — for example, the colors of leaves, patterns in water or grass and variations in light. Finally, ask your child to notice how things feel, such as the texture of tree bark or the softness of a fern. Research has shown that spending time outside increases creativity.
I am pretty sure that the quiz is 100 percent accurate since most of the words describe them to a T! They are such creative, wonderful, beautiful, expressive, and emotional children. They see the beauty in the world, which is something, as a mom, that I am so happy with. Hayley is also a beautiful actor and dancer starting her second year competing which makes this mama proud.
