Asus MeMO Pad 8 (ME181) Android Tablet Review and Giveaway!

*I received the below tablet for review. All my opinions are my own and not swayed by outside sources.*

Asus TabletMy husband has been pleading with me to get him a tablet, since I am always the one with the latest technology. He loves the idea of having a tablet to surf the Internet, check sports scores, download apps, etc. However, he never had one until now. Recently, Asus sent us THE BRAND NEW Asus MeMO Pad 8 (ME181) Android Tablet for review and I have to say this tablet is AMAZING!!

When we took it out of the box, the first thing that we both noticed was how the screen was the perfect size for a tablet. It was not overly big, yet not the size of a cellphone screen. It is very slender and very light! So many pads I have tried are heavy and cumbersome. This you can literally read and use with the palm of your hand. It  is a fully featured 8-inch, industry-leading 64-bit Android tablet that excels at entertainment.There is an on/off button on the side of the pad, that readily allows you to turn it on and turn off. It also comes with a convenient charger, which my husband uses throughout the night.

Once on, you can swipe to turn on the screen power. Then you have the ability to see various features on your home screen such as your contacts, note taking app, music, google, calendar, camera, calculator, and more. My husband downloaded Facebook on the pad, so he can readily search through the Asus. He also has it set up so he can get notifications on what he has to do for the day and what is on the agenda for the following day.

My husband loves pumping music through this pad. I have never heard a device play music so smoothly and clearly. A lot of time he plugs in his headphones and falls asleep listening.

    I like that it does Miracast. That allows you to stream videos from a device like this onto your larger TV. Sometimes everyone in the room wants to see what you’re watching!

    I love ASUS products they are a great product, this Memo pad has front and rear cameras, 30% more screen space then the 7 inch tablet, quad core, and up to 9 hours of web surfing, so this would be the Pad I would like for my first, I don’t even own a tablet.
