Last night, Hayley, I, and our two friends attended the opening night of Monster Jam. While I went last year and loved it, it was Hayley’s first time seeing this awesome spectacle. When we arrived, it was set up like most of the Monster Jam shows with awe inspiring trucks, demolished cars, and dirt paths all around the Dunkin’ Donuts Center. It always amazes me how they can set this up so well!
During the 2+ hour Monster Jam performance, we got to see all the big name trucks including World Champion Grave Digger, Monster Mutt, Krazy Train, and Crushstation battle it out to see who wins the ultimate Monster Jam championship. They did several runs and each time one of the trucks won, they got into the next round to see their match up. Don’t worry if you have seen this before because each time, there is a new winner and each time, the Monster trucks put on their best tricks.
The show had a fabulous emcee who got the crowd revved up and ready to go. Throughout the show, they were looking for the ultimate Monster Jam fan and in the end, that special fan got to keep the trophy. They also introduced the men behind the trucks, which was quite spectacular to see. Can you believe that the guy behind Grave Digger, Dennis Anderson, has been with the Monster Jam family for 30+ years?! This is amazing to me!
The show is a fun family affair and tickets are still available for tonight and tomorrow performances. This is a show you do not want to miss, as they only put it on once a year. Be sure to get your tickets now for the last couple of shows here: Monster Jam.
