The last few days for me have been absolutely horrible and I am so grateful I had my Sudafed on hand to treat my sinus pain. I don’t know if you suffer from sinus pain and pressure (and I hope you do not), but it is so downright awful. It leaves me stuffed up with no breathing ability. When I have sinus pain, all I want to do is lay in mind and sleep. Usually my sinus pain ends with a nasty migraine to top it all off! Thankfully, my medicine cabinet is stuffed with Sudafed to help me feel better when my sinus pain and pressure is at the all time worst.
Can you relate to this- Are you a sinus pain sufferer? Well, Sudafed wants to hear all your rants and open up about horrible sinus pain! Sudafed realizes that these symptoms often leave people feeling crushed, beat down, and tired! Now is your chance to let it all out and tell them how much you hate the sinus pain! Oh, and I forget to mention if you do like to rant and rave, you can end up $5,000 richer!
I am sure you are asking how I could do this! Well, then answer is easy! Sudafed is inviting serious sinus sufferers to communicate how sinus pain and pressure looks and feels in a creative fashion through their new OPEN UP™ application on their Facebook page. It’s a new and fun way for decongestant users to unite!
I immediately headed over to the Sudafed OPEN UP™ Facebook Application to learn more. The instructions for entering were quite easy. First, I simply had to sketch how the sinus pain looks like and feels to me.
To sketch, they have various icons that you can use including a tractor, bricks, hammer, elephants, and more. They want you to sketch how you feel when you have sinus pain. You can also upload a picture of yourself to use in your #SudafedOpenUp creation.
I decided I was going to upload a picture of me that I took in Thailand with an elephant. While that was a great day, I thought to myself that when I had the sinus pain this past week, it truly felt to me like an elephant was on top of my head and someone was taking a hammer and banging on my head, all at the same time. My head was so congested , my eyes were tearing (hence my teary googles in the picture), and I felt so unbelievably congested! I think having an elephant on top of my head, wearing my teary goggles, and being pounced by a sledgehammer is a pretty accurate description of how bad the sinus pain was!
Once I finished my creation and submitted it to the Sudafed Sinus Sketcher, I was then given a coupon to save on the purchase of a Sudafed product, as well as tips for helping with sinus pain. I was also in the running to win $5,000 and have my art work be included in their national campaign.
I loved the Sudafed OPEN UP™ Facebook Application and seeing all the funny creations people came up with to depict their images of when they are suffering with sinus pain. I realize through the conversation and pictures, we all know how truly horrible sinus pain and pressure really is. It was nice to open up with others and see I am not alone.
Sudafed knows that suffering from sinus pressure and pain can leave individuals feeling crushed, beat down, congested and even squeezed, desperately looking for a way to open up. Serious sinus sufferers are invited to creatively share how their sinus pain and pressure looks and feels to them by using Sudafed’s OPEN UP™ application on Facebook.
Then, beginning on December 2, the Sudafed Facebook community will vote for one of five finalist sketches that best illustrates the pains of sinus pressure. The winner will receive $5,000 and a chance to have their work included in a Sudafed advertising campaign. For more information, visit the Sudafed Facebook page.

When I was younger I suffered horribly from allergies that always wound up giving me sinus infections and horrible headaches. Sudafed was one of the few medications I could take that would give me some relief. I haven’t had to take it for quite a while, but I’ve never forgotten how much I loved it. Should I need it again, Sudafed is top on my meds list.
