Editor of Tend by Glam Lauren Barth welcomed mom bloggers from New Jersey, New York and Connecticut to Philippe Chow, a Chinese Restaurant nestled in between Madison Ave and Park Ave on the lower East Side of Central Park. What an incredible venue for Dinner and Diapers! A true New York iconic restaurant, we were bustled to a lush and private room in the basement so that we could have the quiet space to chat and get to know each other. We were treated to cocktails, and an extensive menu of vegetable, chicken, pork and fish dishes. The dinner ended with a decadent red velvet cake, sorbet and fresh fruit.
While we awaited our entrees, Lauren invited us to get all the Diaper jokes out of the way by going around the table and sharing a funny story about our children either related to Dinner or Diapers. Though some of us struggled to think of a story off the top of our heads, as soon as Lauren got the ball rolling we were soon laughing hysterical at the potty humor. We enjoyed talking, eating, and having a great time!
