I am speechless. I watched the news all night and I did not sleep a wink. I lived in Boston for 6 years right near the route of the Boston Marathon. I was a spectator there every single year I lived in Boston. I had 4 friends run the 2013 Boston Marathon. I had one friend who crossed the finish line 3 minutes before the first bomb went off. I am speechless….
Please pray for all the victims and families from this senseless tragedy that should have never happened. I will be silent until tonight to honor the victims of the Marathon. Please pray with me….

Such heartbreaking news. It is just so hard to understand why someone would want to cause such mass destruction. We saw it on the news last night. I’m so out of touch with the news I didn’t find out until hours later. But I was just sick to my stomach when I found out.

It is a sad, sad world. I cannot believe someone would steep so low as to harm the innocent; families, children were targeted, why?! What was the purpose of hurting, killing innocent people?
My thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families.

I have tried to be quiet today. To say little, to try not to talk about it in front of the kids, who don’t know yet. To not get caught up in the media dramatization and hijacking of a horrible tragedy. A moment of silence is more than needed. Prayers for your friends. I am grateful that all of mine seem to have been unharmed. Directly, that is. We’ve all been hit by this indirectly. 🙁
