I grew up watching the MMA! I am not particularly a huge fan, but my dad was. We always on a Sunday night would subscribe to get the match on our television. We would sit, eat our dinner, and watch the match, while I was in high school.
At that time, I knew all the MMA fighters. Now that I am married, we continue watching the MMA specials, because my husband likes it. We even saw a match a few years ago in Vegas. While there is no way I would allow my kids to watch it at the ages they are at, in the future, if they are interested, I am all for that.
One thing that I always think about is how they manage to not get hurt. I know that they all wear all sorts of protection (ankle supports, back supports, compression wears, elbow supports, knee supports, and wrist supports to name a few) and clothing, that allows them to go into the ring successfully, without getting hurt. They also have so many equipment products to train with including baggage gloves, boxing gloves, and MMA gloves, that they sometimes buy from the Fight Shop.
I will admit, it can be exciting at times to watch a MMA match. The MMA fighters really train hard for their fights and it is incredible to watch all of their strengths come out during their matches.
Have you ever watched a MMA fight? What do you think of it?
