Make it a Magical Halloween
Some of the most popular Halloween costumes each year are those that are inspired by well-loved Disney characters. Children enjoy the latest Disney creations as well as time-tested classics. These costumes help kids to live out their fantasies as daring pirates, beautiful princesses, superheroes, and many more.
Disney Halloween costumes are varied in type, style, and size. All ages, from infancy to adulthood, can relive the magical moments of Disney on Halloween night with a number of different costumes from which to choose. Both boys and girls can enjoy some of the most popular costumes as well as some that are more unique.
Traditional Disney
Older Disney characters never go out of style. On Halloween night, girls still love dressing as Snow White and Cinderella. These two favorite Disney princesses are joined by the ranks of characters such as Ariel from “The Little Mermaid,” Belle from “Beauty and the Beast,” and Jasmine from “Aladdin.” Along with the time-tested Disney princesses, young girls also enjoy dressing as Tinkerbell, Peter Pan’s favorite pixie friend.
Boys have no shortage of characters from which to choose. Both Peter Pan and Captain Hook are long-time choices for boys. Characters from the movie “Toy Story,” like Buzz Lightyear and Woody, are standard fare for trick-or-treating as well. Likewise, no one can forget Mickey Mouse, Goofy, and Donald Duck. Of course, not all costumes are gender-specific. Little ones love characters like Nemo and Winnie the Pooh.
New Favorites
Disney is constantly reinventing itself, which means that children have endless choices for Halloween costume characters. New Disney cartoons, like “Jake and the Neverland Pirates” have opened up a host of characters that children may enjoy. One of the latest Disney films, “Brave,” features Merida, who has instantly become a top costume for girls.
The most popular costumes this season are superheroes. Marvel, a Disney company, was behind this summer’s blockbuster film “The Avengers.” Iron Man, Captain America, and the Hulk will decorate the streets this Halloween. Even little girls can get in on the superhero action with the Black Widow and more feminine versions of the Captain America costume that are widely available.
Adults should not forget their costumes either. Many of the costumes available for children are also offered in larger sizes. Those who are kids or who are kids at heart can live out the magic and fantasy of Disney on this one special night of the year.
