Let me preface this by saying this is one of the BEST movies I have seen so far in 2012! Clint Eastwood stars and directs Trouble With The Curve, and I feel it is his best performance to date. I actually see this movie being nominated for an Oscar come award season.
The story follows Gus Lobel (played by Clint Eastwood) who was one of the best baseball scouts in the world. He still has a passion for scouting but through the movie his physical state deteriorates and age is starting to catch up to him. He was sent out for the 2012 Baseball scouting season but the Atlantic Braves are not so sure, he has what it takes to make the correct picks. In comes his daughter, Mickey (played by Amy Adams), who has had a restrained relationship with him in the past. Mickey is a high power attorney about to make partner, when she all of a sudden stops she drops what she is doing to assist her dad. The two have never been close after the death of Mickey’s mom. The story follows their relationship picking up and the amazing story of how they as a team, ended up picking the best scout for the team. Justin Timberlake stars as another scouting agent who befriends Mickey and a relationship ensures.
If you have not seen this movie yet, please go check it out this week or upcoming weekend. It delivers on all possible levels and exceeded my expectations 100 fold. It is beautifully written and directed. It will leave you on the edge of your sweet the whole time and will have you applauding throughout the movie. When I saw it, multiple times throughout the movie, people were applauding and at the end, people did not want to leave. I GIVE THIS MOVIE A++++!!!

I love Clint Eastwood movies! When I was a kid my dad enjoyed watching them, so I would too. Now I’m a fan myself. 🙂

This isn’t a movie I planned on seeing. Though after reading your review, I might have to reconsider!
