With limited time in the morning, I like to find a breakfast that is quick as well as healthy. I will admit that although I am a coffee drinker, I recently became introduced to green tea. I knew of all the healthy attributes of green tea, but I instantly thought I would not like it. I was wrong. I have really began to love the flavor of green tea especially Tetley tea naturally decaffeinated green tea. This tea is 100% pure and natural green tea with a natural source of antioxidants. The taste is fantastic and makes for a perfect drink anytime of the day.
Tetley Naturally Decaffeinated Green Tea is distinctly relaxing, yet powerfully restorative. To make this smooth lasting tea, Tetley only selects the finest green teas of exceptional quality. The leaves are then carefully prepared to evaporate moisture and lock in distinct flavor. The results: a gentle, calming tea with a light golden color and fine delicate flavor. Tetley Tea is a great source of antioxidants to boost the body’s natural immune system.
You can also treat your kids to a tasty beverage full of nutrients and flavor. Tetley Tea’s “teasplashing” is a healthier alternative to traditional soft drinks that are loaded with sugar. Simply combine either green or black decaffeinated Tetley Tea with 100% juice – apple, blueberry and pomegranate- choose your child’s favorite! The drink’s immune system-boosting antioxidants can be especially helpful in fighting off those awful back to school colds!
Along with Tetley Tea’s, I have been eating Emmi Swiss Yogurts. These yogurts are all-natural and low in fat, with 8-10 grams of protein per six-ounce cup. With rbST-free milk and the freshest fruit, it is a satisfying way to fulfill snack cravings and help the body get the hydration it needs. Emmi Swiss-style Yogurt comes in 11 flavors including Green Apple, Black Cherry, Vanilla Bean and Strawberry.
I am a yogurt lover and so are my kids. We all really enjoy the Emmi Swiss Yogurts. These yogurts are flavorful in every bite you taste. This yogurt is not super sweet but enough to give me that delicious flavor in the am- who wants to eat super sweet yogurt at 8am anyway? It has a delicious and luscious blend of pureed fresh fruit and large fruit pieces smoothly blended in. It makes for a delicious breakfast or snack coming in at only 170 calories for the whole 6 oz and 3 grams of fat. It is all natural as well, which is a huge plus to this mom!
Be sure to check out Tetley Teas and Emmi Swiss Yogurt for some wonderful breakfast choices this fall season.
