JJ Cole Nursing and Feeding Pillow Review-Giveaway!

JJ Cole was inspired by young parents 14 years ago that wanted to have great products with parents in mind
I recently received the beautiful Paisley Pillow in the harbor square print.
This pillow is great for many reasons! It has a firm support to help prop baby with out sinking, has a handle to easy carry around, and has a great paisley shape which helps greatly with c-section moms.
Being a plus size woman, your average nursing pillows are difficult for me. Most pillows you see out there are almost a full circle with just enough room cut out to put your body in, but these DO NOT work for me. They always bend in the middle, go flat within a couple weeks, and don’t fit me like they’re supposed to.

It’s pretty easy to feed Macyn with this pillow. I love the handle because I can quickly grab it, sit down, and get down to business. Macyn is 5 1/2 months old and 13lbs and she fits pretty well on the pillow. She is the length of the pillow so we do have to adjust sometimes when she starts to kick around and play. I’ve used this pillow for two weeks now and its kept its shape perfectly and the nice thickness is still there. I also really like that its raised on the edges, which helps when Macyn tries to turn over, because her little head hits that soft foam and she turns back.

 

Here is our oldest, Madison, feeding her baby sister for the first time. This pillow is great for other uses besides mom and breastfeeding. We use this pillow for our little girls to “hold” Macyn because her head can be up, they can be close to eachother, and yet they’re not having to support her head and neck with their arm.

Overall, I like the pillow and its a great alternative for heavier women that can’t use the typical nursing pillow. The fact that it keeps its shape is also a huge plus!

    I really like the idea of the nursing cover matching the pillow! I love the ash woodland print. Their diaper bags are cute as well!
