Wonderful Ice Cream treats from Klondike, Breyers, Magnum, Good Humor, & Popsicle

Did you know that this month is Natural Ice Cream month? Did you also know that I plan to fulfill celebrating this month by vowing to eat ice cream every day? This might come as a slight shock to some of you but I have been eating ice cream for the past few years- ever since I lost 40 pounds about 9 years back. Sounds contradictory to some but to me, my plan works wonderfully. I follow my “diet” or healthy eating plan to a T, but then I allow myself a special treat every night. It allows me to eat something sinfully delicious and not feel bad about it. It works well for me as I have not gained a single pound from the 40 I lost 9 years ago! For my special treats, I have been trying some of the classics including Klondike, Breyers, Magnum, Good Humor, and Popsicle.

I have a large assortment of Klondike, Breyers, Magnum, Good Humor, and Popsicles in my freezer so it is readily accesible when I want some. Hayley also loves all these wonderful ice cream treats, while Zane, who is allergic to milk, can enjoy the classic Popsicles.

I have to fully admit that I am a Magnum newbie. I actually never heard of the brand and then one day I walked into Walmart and saw a large assortment. The Magnum ice creams are ridiculously good- divine chocolate in every single bite!  I am pretty sure I called every single one of my friends after telling them they must get the Magnum bars! They might be too good to be true! Don’t worry if you all want a small treat as these Magnum bars  are now made in a new Mini line of petite treats including the Classic and Almond flavor. They also recently added their Mint and Mochaccion line this summer!

We have an obsession with Klondike bars in the house and this has been going on for many years. When the Ice Cream truck comes around my parents house, the Klondike bars is what everyone turns to! My all time favorite Klondike bar is the Strawberry Shortcake bars! Do you remember them when you were growing up? They are also taking their ever famous Original Choco Taco and introducing the new Chocolate and Peanut Butter varieties, and the all new Ice Cream Sandwich! YUM!

Breyers Ice Cream is also another marvelous ice cream brand! Their brand feature amazing mix-ins and cookie brands that is featured in every marvelous scoop. Some of their new flavors are Chocolate Reese’s, Golden Oreo Cookies, Cookies and Cream, Oreo Birthday Blast, Smore’s, Banana Split, and Klondike Krunch. As I am writing the post, I am treating myself to the Orea Birthday Blast and all I can say is it is AMAZING!

Good Humor Ice Cream is a childhood staple. Following the release of the Peanut Butter Ice Cream cups, Good Humor has introduced two versions of the classic candy bars- Mounds and York Peppermint Pattie Ice Cream! I have not had a chance to check it out yet but I truly can’t wait!

I also wanted to let you know that Popsicle has developed a new product line called the Yosicle. It combines the classic Popsicle taste with the creamy deliciousness of yogurt! They are also bringing a new Popsicle that they developed with the makers of Sour Patch Kids. If your children love the candy, Sour Patch Kids, they will LOVE the new Popsicles on the market!
