As you all know, I absolutely adore Huggies products and have talked about a variety of Huggies diapers/wipes in posts in the past. Recently, when I went shopping in our local store, I saw the new Huggies Little Movers Slip-On Diapers. I was intrigued because it sounded like such an amazing diaper for my little 15 month-old Zane. He is one of the most squirmy toddlers and he gives me a very hard time when he needs diaper changes.
The new Huggies Little Movers Slip-On Diapers looks very similar to a swimmie diaper in that it slips on right over your child’s bum. However, that is where the similarities stop. The Huggies Little Movers Slip-On Diapers are contoured to fit your child perfectly. They fit just like any other Huggies diaper I have used, but they are much easier to put on!
The way Huggies Slip-On Diapers works is quite easy- just as the name says, you slip the diaper on and off. I bought the size 4 for Zane and like all other Huggies diapers, they fit beautifully and comfortably around him. However, with the Slip-On, I am able to change him in a second flat by simply pulling down the diaper and putting on another. The technology is incredible! I know you might be questioning and asking, “Well, if they slip on and off, how does it hold in the wetness?” “Don’t you have tons of pee accidents and pee spoiling all of Zane’s clothes?” The answer is NO because the Huggies Slip-On Diapers has a trusted leak protection so I never have to worry about accidents occurring. The Huggies Leak Lock System absorbs away layers and provides long lasting core lock in wetness to keep your baby dry. They also have stopping guards around the leg and waist to help keep wetness in. I have been known to go many hours between diaper changes (that is what happens when you are simultaneously chasing around another toddler) and I happy to report that I did not have one leak accident with the Huggies Slip-On Diapers.
Huggies Slip-On Diapers also has easy open finger tabs if you would like to use it to help with diaper changes. When Zane goes #2 and I need more stability to change him, I change him using the easy tabs. Takes two seconds to open/close the tabs and then we have a fresh new Slip-On Diaper on!
The easy open sides and finger tables make diaper changes a true cinch! I have never had it easier to change a diaper on Zane! When I first bought the Huggies Slip-On Diapers, I was always changing Zane on the changing table. Now with the Huggies Slip-On Diaper, I can literally change Zane when he is running to play. I just catch him and put on a new diaper in a second flat. You can change your children in any different position and location you like with the Huggies Slip-On Diapers. With the stretchy sides, I can change Zane with zero tantrums from him!
While using my Huggies Little Mover Slip-On Diapers, I have been participating in Huggies Easy On- Easy Off challenge on their Huggies Facebook page. In the challenge, I have been checking in each day for the past week, and receiving tips and ideas how to change a squirmy baby! The challenge has been great and exemplified by love for Huggies and the new Little Mover Slip-On Diapers. I suggest you check out the challenge and if you do, at the end of the week, you will receive a coupon good to try out the new Slip-On Diapers.
I thought I might add my own tips, or shall I say suggestions, when you are trying to change your squirmy baby. My biggest suggestion is to make sure wherever you change your baby, there is nothing around that the baby can grab. I have been known to have a towel laying around and the next thing I know, Zane grabs it and you can guess what happens next. If you can’t use your imagination, just think about a very dirty towel! I also suggest that you have some sort of distraction for your child to look at when you are doing changes. We used to have a mobile set up and did all diaper changes under the mobile. Since he outgrew the mobile, I now hang a picture of Elmo near the spot I do most of the diaper changes. I am able to do his changes while he is repeatedly saying, Elmo..Elmo.. It doesn’t have to be a picture, just something that will distract your child! Last, make sure you have all necessary items to change the diaper. The last thing you want is to accidentally forget something and have your child up and running before you are done. Well that is unless you get the new Little Mover Slip-On Diapers.
I highly advocate going out and trying the new Huggies Slip-On Diapers. They are easy and very manageable for a squirmy toddler on the go! Also, it will help tremendously once you begin to potty train, as you do not have to take off all the clothes when you do the diaper change. Thank you to Huggies for making an incredible diaper that helps us moms out with young ones who just don’t understand the concept of sitting still and behaving during changes!
Huggies® Slip-On® Diapers were made with squirmy babies in mind, providing stretchy sides to let you quickly slip on the diaper for a close, comfy fit and trusted leakage protection. Plus, they have easy open tabs so they are easy to take off, making changing easy for you and your squirmy little one.

Since now my son is up and running around, we just switched to Huggies from Pampers. I had no idea they made slip-ons! So awesome 🙂 I figured I wouldn’t be able to get slip-on style till he started potty training. Thanks for sharing 🙂

I always loved huggies best too. This is SUCH a great idea! Like you mentioned, kids are so squirmy and the simple task of changing a diaper can turn into an angry battle…this diaper can alleviate that. Great news that I will pass on to my sisters with little ones in diapers. I will send them your post as well so that they can do the challenge. thanks so much.

Would have loved to had these when my son was a little. I’m sharing this with my niece, though! Your son is adorable! Like Ronni above, I can’t get over all that gorgeous hair, either! 🙂

we’ve been using these at our house too actually, so far so good!

I never could understand after they brought out the disposable training pants why companies would not just make their diapers this way, also. Huggies were our absolute fave for a disposable. Perhaps in a few years, I can recommend these to one of my children for a grandchild that I hope to one day hold in my arms. Gee, I miss having a baby in my arms…sigh

how cute is he? I’ve never had much luck with Huggies diapers (haven’t tried these though) but the wipes are the BEST on the market. Love Huggies wipes!

Those look quite fun! My daughter is always on the go and doesn’t like to stop for diaper changes. the slip ons sound like they could really help with diaper changing tantrums.

What a little DOLL! How do you keep from not just eating him up?? LOL! We always used Huggies with my son…it’s the best diaper for little boys, hands down! Neat that they make slip on diapers now!

I should preface this comment with a new statement of love! Eyan wears these at nighttime because they are a lot more absorbent than a pull-up and they fit great. But in November when I first decided to try these, this was my review http://www.wegotthefunk1.com/2011/11/diaper-review.html
