LeapFrog Huge DVD bundle Giveaway and Review!- 2 winners!

I am excited to share with my readers some amazing new Leapfrog DVDs that have hit the market. While we know most kids love to watch television, I can assure you by watching television via Leapfrog DVDs will not only be educational- IT WILL BE FUN!! Here are my reviews of 5 new DVDs from Leapfrog that have recently hit the market: Leap Frog Learning Collection 3 DVD set, Scout and Friends Phonics Farm, and Scount and Friends Number Land:

Leap Frog is a child staple of learning in many families. We used Leap Frog products from the time Hayley was born and will continue to use it till she outgrows it (which won’t be for MANY years).  We previously have many Leap Frog products including My Pal Scout,  Tag Jr., and Leapster to name a small few. Each product has helped Hayley  and now Zane grow leaps and bound!

I really had no idea Leap Frog made DVD’s till we received  a few to review. I have to say I am completely thrilled with the idea of learning by way of DVD. Most 3 year olds enjoy television and although some shows are educational, there are quite a few that are not. When we got the Leap Frog DVDs, we received the 3 DVD Learning Collection which came with the Amazing Alphabet Amusement Park, Learn to Read at the Storybook Factory, and Number Ahoy. Also included in this package was a fun filled adventure book to help teach kids consonants and short vowels. Each of the DVD’s runs approximately 35 minutes which is perfect for a small kids entertainment. All of these DVD’s are for the 2-7 years age range and incooperate learning topics such as early reading skills, school skills, and mathematic skills. 

We also received the Scout and Friends Phonics Farm which is the all new DVD that involves the alphabet, phonic skills, and animals. Scout is a childhood name in my family so to see him teach via DVD was amazing! In this DVD, Hayley joined Scout and his friends as she learned the letter sounds with the help of his amazing animal friends.  This DVD had fabulous sing-alongs, the adorable “Being a Puppy” music video, the Surprise for Scout storybook, and the Sing with US band. 


It is truly amazing what an attention span Hayley has watching these DVD’s. I really love the fact that she is learning but probably not even realizing it!  I also love that each DVD is tailored to a specific learning lesson. I can assure you that your child will learn and have fun in the process. Hayley always asks me for more when it ends. I most certainly oblige!

The last Leap Frog Dvd we reviewed was the Scout and Friends Number Land Dvd. I absolutely loved this Dvd as Hayley is at the perfect age to truly enjoy what the Dvd had to offer. Scout and Friends Number Land is all about teaching kids about important math skills. In this Dvd, your kids will be able to learn number recognition and start the process of counting. While Hayley does  know her numbers and basic counting, she greatly enjoyed the learning ways of putting numbers back in order and counting in multiples of two. The animation is truly fanastic and the songs will get the kids dancing for quite awhile. 

Synoposis: Count on your child having fun while learning about numbers. Join Scout and Friends for another exciting LeapFrog learning adventure! When the pets long to learn about numbers, their magical car, Sxle, whisks them away to Numberland. With the help of their new friend Max, they meet all of the residents and build early number skills. Throw in a surprise birthday party and it all adds up to plenty of fun on this sing-song counting adventure. Included in this Dvd are special features such as Sing-alongs, curriculum commentary for parents, the Scout, “Being a Puppy” song, and the Sing with Us! The Band. 

Hayley loved this Dvd. It was vivid, cute animation, and an incredible learning video for those with kids ages 2-5. It runs 35 minutes and at the end Haley was asking for more.  Scout and Friends Number Land is available at Amazon for $11.99.

    We bought leappads for the kids when they first came out. We only use them when we travel, so they are still in pretty good shape. I doubt we could even buy the games any more…

There beautiful family is multicultural and bilingual so the boys are learning english too but its more of their secondary language and so these products would be both helpful and FUN for them and I know the boys would like them and their parents would appreciate them a lot too! : D
