SLIM FAST REVIEW and SEPHORA GIVEAWAY-3 winners!

Those that know me in my real life know that I lost 40 pounds 8 years ago. I went away to dental school one year and came back 40 pounds heavier. I was depressed and just wanted to get the weight off. I am proud to say that 8 years later I am still 40 pounds lighter. Most people ask me what I eat. That is the tough part, especially when you have kids. Some days, I am so tempted to eat fast food because it is so available/convenient, but then I remember all the hard work it took to take off the weight. So, I decide to start most of my mornings with the delicious, Slim Fast Shakes.  



While I did like the shakes before, they recently renovated the taste to include the new and improved Slim Fast Shakes.  What I love about these is the variety of flavors they come in. They expanded the line to include the Cappuccino Delight,  French Vanilla, Creamy Chocolate,  Rich Chocolate, Strawberries N’ Cream, and the Lower Carb Chocolate/Vanilla Shakes. I never get bored with the flavors as I rotate my selections every morning. Each of these shakes come in the new and improved plastic containers with screw on lids. I love the convenience of these containers and also like the fact that they did away with the aluminum cans. Something about the aluminum cans left a strange taste in my mouth. With the new plastic bottles (which I recycle), I don’t notice any taste but the delicious and smooth flavor of the drinks.



Each of these shakes contain 10 grams of protein and 5 grams of fiber to help curb your appetite for 4 hours. I usually drink mine around 8 am and it keeps me full till I eat lunch at 12 pm. Sometimes I throw in an apple if I am working out in the am, but usually I just drink these alone. All of the shakes also provide one-third of most of the recommended essential vitamins and minerals.  I also love the fact that each shake contains approximately 180 calories per bottle.  It really is a terrific breakfast that would start your day off right. I also have been known to drink them as an afternoon snack.

The new Slim Fast shakes are part of the Slim Fast 3-2-1 Plan. The Slim Fast 3-2-1 Plan is a customized plan to help you lose weight quickly, easily, and conveniently.     I Love the Strawberries N Cream but I would love to try the cappuccino flavour thats sound like it could help with replacing me over sweetened coffee with something much better for me

    I prefer the French Vanilla, the chocolate is good for a change but I found the French Vanilla easier to drink regularly.

    I LOVE the strawberries and cream flavor. I had a chance to try it and to be quite honest, I get cravings for it now. It reminded me very much of a Strawberry milkshake.

    The Rich chocolate royale was my favorite when I did Slim Fast 10 years ago after Styles was born. I lost 60lbs by using Slim Fast! The weight didn't come back on until I got pregnant with #2, 7 years later and was put on bed rest.

    I love Slim Fast, but I have always used the powder. Like you, I thought the cans had a metallic taste, but I would love to try the new bottles. My favorite is the Rich Chocolate.
