Infantino HappiTaps-Beary- Awesome new application for my kids!

Is your child obsessed with your iPhone or iPod touch? I know Hayley is and I have resorted to letting her use it when I need to get things done. While I try my hardest to find game applications on my phone and iPad, I can’t seem to find an app that is truly for my daughters age. A lot of the games that I have downloaded, she is just not ready for yet. 

So when we found out about the Infantino HappiTaps application, we were so excited! This app is completely free and is available here: HappiTaps application on iTunes.  When we first opened up the app, Hayley was completely mesmerized with Beary, who is the bear who runs the whole application.  Beary tells jokes, stories, recites fun facts, sings songs, and best of all teaches. It is truly remarkable the amount of information stored in this app.  I love the fact that this application provides hours of entertainment for Hayley but also is used as an important learning tool.




Hayley’s absolute favorite part of the app is making Beary do his faces. She can make him laugh and she can also make him wink and play a game by feeding him food. The vast array of games and activities found on this app is astonishing.  She also loves singing the ABC’s along with Beary as well as tickling Beary. The only problem with this application is that I ran out of batteries twice today because she wouldn’t put my phone down!

The wonderful Step2 company recently came out with a Happitaps case that is in the shape of Beary.




I love the fact that I can put my iPod touch into the cover of Beary and it is as if Beary is running the show. Once you put the iPhone or iPod touch into the cover, your child’s new friend comes to life! It is as if the stuffed bear is talking to you!  Not only is this case super cute and makes the application even more fun, but it is extremely practical.  The case acts as a cushion against mishaps that can happen when your iPhone is in possession of a 3 year old.

    The iPad cover is freaking adorable. This is a super cute app! I don't have any Apple products but if they came out with it for Android I'd totally let Madilyn play with that. CUTE!

    I really like the cover…your kids won't drop the iPhone or iPod touch as easily and it is just so soft and adorable.

    Sadly I still have an old flip phone. LOL Hoping for an iPhone for Christmas and this will be on my list of apps to get for the kiddos!

    My son actually ruined our iPod Touch, so something like this would be perfect. There is definitely a market out there- just wish it had been around before we saw $200 go down the drain!

    That's cute. I have a bunch of apps on my phone that Aiden loves to play with. I think there are only 1 or 2 app that I think are too old for him right now so he doesn't play with them, but I love that case.

    Ohh this is such a cute app, Melissa!! Whenever I babysit, the kids always steal my phone. It amazes me how they know their way around it more than I do!!
    It is so crazy all the awesome and fun apps they offer!!
