As a mom of two small kids, I strive to find a car seat that provides the protection that both of my kids need. Finding a car seat can be a very daunting task because there are so many different ones on the market, each with their own features. I have used many car seats through the years and recently I was sent the brand new (just released) on the market Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 Car Seat with Safety Surround Protection! From the time I received this car seat, I knew that it would become a family favorite! This is one of the best FORWARD FACING rides for your bigger child! 
When we received the Graco Nautilus, I was so surprised to see just how easy the car seat was to set up. Basically everything was already put together, except for the cup holder, which took all of two seconds to install. There is a full instruction manual to tell you exactly how to install the car seat.
The Graco Nautilus 3-in-1 Car Seat has so many wonderful features but the one that I was most drawn to right off the bat is the Safety Sound Side Impact Protection. This offers the best head protection at each stage that your child is in. This feature was crash tested and gave protection to children from the time they are little to the time they grew older, through all the different phases. The headrest can be easily adjusted with one hand to accomodate a child’s growth!
The Nautilus can be used as a forward facing car seat with a 5 point harness (fits children 20-65 pounds), a high back booster (fits children 30-100 pounds), and a backless booster (fits children 40-100 pounds). It goes readily from a 5 point harness forward facing car seat to a belt booster, and then to a backless booster! This is amazing because once your child is forward facing, you will only need to buy one car seat! With the car seat, there is also a 3 position recline for a child’s comfort.

That you can put the average 3 year old in it and it wil then be the last seat he/she needs due to a good tall seat back, tall harness slots, and a high weight limit.
