Celebrate Earth Day with us at the #GELighting Twitter Party 4/22 #cbias

Earth Day is quickly approaching on April 22! I know this time of year, I sit back and reflect on ways I could help save the environment while simultaneously finding ways I could help cut my bills. As a family, we are very big with reducing, reusing, and recycling in our household. I make it a rule in our house that my kids know how to properly recycle and I show them ways we could conserve energy. We have started implementing lists of things we could do to help conserve energy by simply closing lights after they are used, unplugging devices from the outlets before we go to sleep, and making sure we limit the amount of time water is being used when we bathe or brush our teeth. We have been quite successful in our family in conserving energy and trying to equally save the environment.

We are also making the switch to GE Energy Efficient Lighting, so we could save money on our exuberant energy bills we have had in the past. We have had several areas in our house changed over to GE Lighting, but now we are making the complete switch to save energy and money!  GE gives you this really neat Energy Saving and Usage Calculator to see what you will save by switching to GE Energy Efficient Lighting. It is truly remarkable how making this small switch, will save you money!
